15 egg-cellent family Easter events in London for 2024

  1. The Lindt Gold Bunny Hunt is back at Hampton Court Palace from 23rd March-14th April. Match the names of influential characters to the distinctive red ribbons adorning each bunny statue, and be rewarded with a chocolatey treat. Included in admission.
  2. Both Eltham Palace and Kenwood House will play host to an Easter Adventure from 23rd March-14th April. Hunt for clues in the grounds and gardens, track down the Easter eggs and get rewarded with a tasty chocolate treat. Paid.
  3. Easter at Camden Market promises to be a truly cracking weekend. Running from 27th March-3rd April, the festivities will include an egg hunt, a bunny rave, face painting, live performances, bulb planting, arts and crafts, and loads more. Free.
  4. London Zoo’s Zoonormous Egg Hunt runs from 29th March-1st April. Solve the clues at each checkpoint to crack the code, revealing the Golden Egg in a hidden location. Successful egg-splorers will be rewarded with a tasty treat. Free with admission.
  5. The Chiswick House & Gardens Easter Adventure Quest runs from 29th March-1st April. Answer the questions hidden around the gardens and find the hidden eggs. Successful questers will be rewarded with a tasty chocolate treat. Paid.
  6. Morden Hall Park will host an Easter egg hunt from 29th March-3rd April. Pick up your trail sheet and bunny ears and embark on a journey through sound, music and discovery, before collecting a dairy or vegan chocolate egg at the end. Paid.
  7. Join Old Royal Naval College’s Time Travel Easter Trail from 29th March-14th April, Hop into the Easter Bunny’s time machine and learn about Easter celebrations throughout history. Complete the self-led Easter activity booklet and claim a chocolate prize. Paid.
  8. Head to Hobbledown Heath for an Eggstra Special Easter Celebration from 29th March-14th April. Embark on an egg-citing Easter Egg Quest, with the option to tuck into a special Bunny Brunch on 1st-5th and 8th-12th April. Free with admission/paid.
  9. Museum of Brands’ Easter Eggsplorers Family Brand Hunt runs from 29th March-14th April. Find items including ‘Quorn’ the wartime egg replacer and the One Direction Easter Egg before making your own Easter Egg bunting. Free with admission.
  10. Chelsea Physic Garden will host a self-guided Easter Trail on the 29th and 31st of March, and the 1st of April. Search for eggs around the four-acre site and receive a small chocolate treat at the end. There will also be drop-in pond-dipping. Paid, plus admission.
  11. The Horniman Spring Fair is scheduled for 30th March. Expect circus skills and games from Project Hoop, a performance by Mrs H and the Singalong Band, an Easter bonnet parade, traditional fete games, bubbles, craft workshops and more. Paid.
  12. Peckham Levels’ Easter Eggstravaganza returns to Level 5 on 30th March. Alongside the main event – a cracking Easter Egg Hunt – you can expect egg-citing arts and crafts activities, games and a Meet-and-Greet with the Easter Bunny Mascot. Paid.
  13. The Easter Egg Hunt in Cannizaro Park is happening on 31st March, in support of Friends of Cannizaro Park. Immerse yourself in a day of Easter-themed fun, including an exciting raffle, refreshments and an exhilarating Easter egg hunt. Paid.
  14. The Streatham Rookery Easter Egg Hunt 2024 takes place on 31st March. The event will include a self-guided egg hunt for kids aged 1-11yrs, and an Easter bonnet parade, with the chance to make a bonnet at the event if you don’t already have one. Free.
  15. Big Penny Social is hosting an Easter Family Disco on 31st March. Expect bubbles, interactive games, prizes and singalongs – all to a playlist of tunes that kids AND parents will want to boogie to. The morning session will also include an Easter egg hunt. Paid.
