Classes
This month, remember, remember the 5th of November with family-friendly firework displays and get festive with seasonal skating at Somerset House.
There are A LOT of planes, including one with teeth, another that says POO down its side and some really cool early wooden warplanes.
There were no overcomplicated cutting-and-sticking tasks and no instructions other than to get stuck in, which is always such a relief.
Storycraft is simply a story followed by a craft, and unfortunately its simplicity is what killed it for us.
This month, soak up some culture with tot-friendly LDF pop-ups, vintage toy and video-game exhibitions, and storytelling in the clouds.
This month, make the most of the great outdoors with festivals, al fresco installations, park fun days and outdoor water-play.
This month, get messy with art in the park, check out the city’s best outdoor installations and build sandcastles at a pop-up urban beach.
I’m a bit of a yoga novice (read: shit) and had no idea what to do when we were told to “do your own thing” on the mats so I just sort of lay there like a dead fish.
I will say that I’ve been to a lot of other great messy-play sessions that cost a fifth of the price of Artplay, but it was good, and very messy.
